Cadence propped the front door open to help the guys move the stuff out. Her eyes quickly looked over at Brendan's apartment. She saw him come back with his girlfriend and the new baby. Part of her was deeply sadden by the news. Most people would be happy about a new baby, but Cadence knew that things were changing. Sometimes, she wished she could go back to high school and just stay like that forever.
